Pastor Dennis Lee Webb, Sr. was born in Jefferson, Texas November 10 1958.  Pastor Webb began dating Lydia Chiver’s in 1980 and they were married on July 10, 1982.  The Lord has blessed them with two sons and daughter and eight Grand Children.

Pastor Webb accepted his calling to preach in 1993 while attending Bible Way Community Baptist Church in Irving, Texas.  He was ordained as a Pastor in April 24, 1996. On April 14, 1996, he preached his first sermon to the congregation of the Bear Creek Community Church, which he founded.

 

Pastor Webb retired from the Grand Prairie Fire Department after 30 years of service. He has served on numerous boards and committees for the City of Irving. Just to name a few – Planning and Zoning Commission, Urban League of Greater Dallas, CSG Board of Directors, Irving Mayors Human Relations Advisory Committee, Irving Youth Action Council Advisory Board, plus  Grand Prairie Fire fighters Association Board of Directors, Bear Creek Development Corporation Board of Directors,and numerous leadership roles in two church’s.

He was Elected to the Irving City Council June 2011 and continues to serve in that capacity today. He resides in the city of Irving, Texas with his family where he continues his calling as the Senior Pastor of the Bear Creek Community Church.
