Pastor Dennis Lee Webb, Sr. was born in Jefferson, Texas. He is the 2nd son of Joseph and Tommie Webb.  Pastor Webb began dating Lydia Chivers in 1980 and they were married on July 10, 1982.  The Lord has blessed them with two sons and daughter.  They have been blessed with a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Pastor Webb accepted his calling to preach in 1993 while attending Bibleway Community Baptist Church in Irving, Texas.  He was ordained as a Pastoral minister in April 24, 1996 at the Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas by Pastor Maurice Ricks. On April 14, 1996, he preached his first sermon of God’s Holy Word to the congregation of the Bear Creek Community Church at the First Baptist Church in Irving, Texas.

Pastor Webb currently holds the position of Lieutenant on the Grand Prairie Fire Department and has served on numerous boards and committees for the City of Irving. Just to name a few – Planning and Zoning Commission, Urban League of Greater Dallas, CSG Board of Directors, Mayors Human Relations Advisory Committee, Bear Creek Development Corporation Board of Directors, Irving Youth Action Committee Advisory Board. The list goes on and on.

He resides in the city of Irving, Texas with his family where he continues his calling as the Senior Pastor of the Bear Creek Community Church.

John Joseph Taylor  was born in Austin,Tx on April 18,1978 to Ronald and Margie Taylor. He has one brother; Everett Taylor, two sisters; Rhonda Lewis and Nicole Caston, and several step brothers and sisters. His family moved from Austin to Dallas and at the age of 1, John at the age of 10 accepted Christ while attending Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Tx. He grew up understanding the true meaning of salvation and understood that even at a young age, God had a calling on his life.
Around the age of 14, his family transferred their membership from Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church to Mountain View Baptist Church in Dallas, Tx. Under the leadership of Pastor Homer Thomas III, he began to understand the severity of studying the word of God. He actively served in the church by singing in the choir, ushering, and acting in plays.
He graduated from Justin F. Kimball in Dallas,Tx in 1996. The following year he joined the U.S. Army  and proudly served his country  until October 2002.. He married Ylanna Taylor on November 30, 2002 and the two now have three children together.
In 2003 he accepted his call to ministry and served in the the youth department at Mountain View Baptist Church. In 2004, God led him and his family to Bear Creek Community Church in Irving, Tx. He now serves as an Associate Minister and Spiritual Advisor over the youth department. He also attends The Christian Leadership Institute where he  is furthering his education in ministry.

Minister Derrick G.  Wilkerson currently serves as an Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Webb of the Bear Creek Community Church in Irving TX.  Minister Wilkerson has served in full time ministry for  20 years and currently works as a counselor for the Salvation Army Metroplex Command Center in Dallas TX. His articulate gift in delivering Gods word with simplicity, insight, spiritual enrichment and wisdom has made an impact in our communities, and cities.  Through volunteering his services at the Dallas County Jail as liaison he has formed four jail teams at Bear Creek Church and as a result, Bear Creek now carries bible studies into Lew Sterrett county Jail every Wednesday night to inmates.   Minister Wilkerson   provides support to those seeking freedom from drugs and alcohol.  As a certified recovery specialist he provides support for individuals and family members that have been affected by drugs and alcohol.  His approach on addictions issues has heightened the awareness of those struggling with addictions and other compulsive behaviors.  Minister Wilkerson has also formed a support group ministry at The Bear Creek Church which is known as The Exchange Group.  This group is available to anyone including family members  that need support, or information and resources.   Minister Wilkerson facilitates this meeting every Saturday starting from 12 noon to 1:30pm here at The Bear Creek Community Church.

He also provides one on one consolation for those in need.

Mr. Wilkerson is devoted to serving those that are in need in a spirit of excellence and touching lives one at a time.  He and his wife Alicia Wilkerson of 18 years currently reside in Irving Texas.

My name is Shanna Starks, and I am the Director of the Teen and Adult Dance ministers at Bear Creek Community Church, Shepherd by Pastor, Dennis Webb Sr.    I have served at Bear creek for about 8 Years as a Dance Director, and named the Director of the BCCC Prison Ministry.   Dancing has always been a passion of mine.  I attend many workshops and conferences.  I have completed TEN, TEN2 and to God Be the Glory EITI!  Where I received my Licenses of Ministry, and  Ordained Minister   It is my desire to be a leader that would live up to the name of the ministry “Giving God Glory”, Psalm 86:12Psalm 86:12
